I love personal style, from the way you live to the sounds you listen to, it all paints a beautiful picture of you.

Studio Playlist

I have listened to this playlist WAY to many times. It get’s my brain moving and when I need to really kill a shot, I turn it on. It’s a work in progress and I edit it all the time.

Personal work stems from my love of experimenting. “What if I did that?”

I absolutely LOVE architecture and design. I was fortunate to work as a young photo assistant with HedrichBlessing, an amazing architectural photography studio in Chicago, IL. This studio has a long history working with historical architects and designers such Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, Herman Miller, just to name a few. This is the roots of my training, learning on 4x5 cameras shooting on chrome films. I also had the privilege to work with Richard Burbridge when I lived in NYC for a summer, a very influential photographer today. These experiences have shown me what it takes to make timeless and meaningful imagery, also how important it is to be a student in your craft everyday.

If you ever need a bit of inspiration, check this PBS series out. The process is crucial to your work.
